Backpack Program

IPM's Backpacks of Basics are designed to provide items that meet the immediate needs of individuals who are unsheltered. While the needs in our community often go unseen by most of us, police departments and other service agencies encounter difficult situations on a regular basis.

SERVING THE UNSHELTERED

We fill the backpacks with basic necessities like pop-top non-perishable food items, socks, a t-shirt, blanket and tarp. Backpacks are distributed to law enforcement and specialized social service agencies.

IMPACT WHERE IT IS MOST NEEDED

Our backpack program is engineered to serve the unsheltered where they are.  Local police stations and inside officer vehicles, social service agencies as well as IPM Food Pantry locations all have our backpacks.
